PSY 101 Introduction to Psychology (3 credits)

Prerequisite: None

This course presents various issues and principles of psychology that reflect its current status as a behavioral science. Topics include: learning, perception, motivation, emotion, personality and intelligence, conflict and adjustment, and problems of mental health.

PSY 202 Developmental Psychology (3 credits)

Prerequisite: PSY 101 or permission from the Dean

Presents theoretical and research findings of psychology pertinent to how children grow, develop and learn, as well as the educational and psychological evaluation of school achievement.
