Students for Accelerated Excellence (SAE)

Students for Accelerated Excellence (SAE) is an excellent opportunity that we are excited to share with you. This initiative will allow you to experience distance learning through MJI Online with no cost or obligation to you. I sincerely hope you will be able to join us for the Summer 2010 semester. Courses available at no charge include:

BUS 121 Intro to Business – This class provides an overview of American business today. As we’ve seen over the last year, this area is changing rapidly! Learn how to integrate corporate organization, accounting, finance, marketing, sales and so much more!

ENG 351 Exploration of Creative Writing I - This course will introduce students to a variety of writing types.  Students will explore the short story, drama, poetry and creative writing through letters.  The course will also concentrate on vocabulary development and mechanics (i.e. spelling, punctuation and stylistics) as they apply to the student's writing 

JST 101 The Narrative of the Chumash - This course explores the narrative themes of the Pentateuch.  It aims to establish a basic grasp of the founding narrative of Judaism and an understanding of how it serves as a foundation for the legal/political structure of the Jewish people.

JST 313 Topics in Halacha: The Sabbath and the Festivals  - Various legal issues are discussed and analyzed with emphasis on modern applications.

As stated, this class is available one-time at no charge. We are pleased to bring you this special offer through our Students for Accelerated Excellence (SAE) initiative. This class is a $1,050 value ($350 per credit for a 3-credit class)! Additionally, these 3 credits will transfer to the MJI college transcript.

NOTE: All students should complete a FAFSA form at www.fafsa.ed.gov  (MJI school code: 032843).  For qualifying students, this will extend your grant money even further!

What other classes would I have to take to earn my degree?

You would need to submit official transcripts from any community college, university or year abroad program. Upon receipt and review of the transcripts, we will be able to create your academic plan. Typically, students can earn their degree in approximately 18 months.
